Whole Sale

Moving...moving is one of those phenomenons. Excited to do, don't want to do it. Things needed to be put in order for my redeployment. What part of my life will stay put, be thrown away, recycled, and what small part will make the journey. Ahhhhhh, don't even know if I want to move. Things and my life are working out pretty darn good on this home front. OK lets get started.
Boats, three boats needed to be sold, a big old camping trailer that I wish to this day I didn't sell needed to go, kayaks, a motorcycle and a garage full of toys all needed to find a new happy abode. Now, in the past, I've used Craigslist to buy stuff, never to sell. Whoever came up with this simple, wonderful way to relocate one's merchandise deserves their fortune. Within thirty minutes, what seemed like the world to me, a world that identified me. That took years and years of hard work, was a listed on Craigslist. Priced to sell for mere pennies on the dollar, ready to be snapped up by the first person to show me the money. If only I knew how much all would be missed.
Star boat, named for my lifestyle, "Karpy Diem" Not sure why, but man or woman, no matter the age. If you own a boat, sail it, maintain it, bleed on it. You bond with that hulk of Fiberglass, wood and steel unlike anything else in the world. The feel, smell and more than anything else the sounds emitted from her both in the water and dry sailed. Each boat sings their own song with Halyards slapping with masts. Might sound a tad corny, but once a sailor, always a sailor. Romantic is an understatement.
